What we keep about you, why, and for how long.
This translation is here to help you read it. If it ever differs from the English version, the English version is the one that applies.

What we keep
- Your account - name, email address, a scrambled (hashed) password, the language you read the site in, and when you signed up and last signed in.
- Your licence - the key, when it expires, and for each browser it runs in: a random id the add-on makes up, the version, the game world, the IP address it last checked in from and when.
- Your settings - while settings sync is on (it is by default), the strategies and settings you set up in the add-on, for each game account, kept with your licence so a new browser can start where the last one left off. The master switch, notification tokens and addresses, and where the window sits are never sent.
- Your orders - amount, date and status. Card details go to the payment provider you pay through, such as PayPal or Stripe, and never reach us.
- Support chats - the messages you send, the page you started from and the language it was in.
- Sign-in sessions - the browser and IP address, so you can see and end them from your account page.
- Visits to this site - which pages were opened and which link brought you, counted against a random id in a cookie of ours. No IP address, no browser name, nothing shared with anyone, and nothing that identifies you.
What the add-on sends
To check your licence: your key, the random browser id, its version and your world. With settings sync on it also sends the strategies and settings you have set up, and asks for them back when you install on a new browser; where you gave a village its own setting, it is saved against the village's number. You can turn syncing off in the add-on's Settings, which removes the copy from our server. It never sends your game password, your notification tokens, or anything it reads from the game, such as villages, troops and reports.
Why
To provide the service you paid for (contract), to keep records the law requires (legal obligation), and to stop licences being shared (legitimate interest). We do not sell your data, show ads, or let anybody follow you to another site.
Cookies
Seven, all set by this site and read by nobody else: one that keeps you signed in, one that protects forms from forgery, one that remembers your support chat, one that carries a short message such as "Saved." from one page to the next for a minute, one that remembers which affiliate link you arrived through, one that remembers the language you picked, and one random id that lets us count how many people visit. There are no third-party cookies, no advertising cookies, and nothing that tracks you across other sites.
Who else sees it
The payment provider you pay through, our hosting provider, and our email provider, each only as far as they need to do their job.
How long
Account data until you delete your account. Orders and invoices for as long as tax law requires (usually 7-10 years), without the link to your deleted account. Support chats for two years. Saved settings until you turn syncing off or delete your account.
Your rights
You can see and correct your details on your account page, and delete your account there too. For a copy of everything we hold, or any other request, ask in the live chat. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
